On October 24, 2024, Duxford College for Advanced Studies held its Oath-Taking Ceremony for the newly elected College Union 2024-25. Principal Prof. Alavi Bin Muhammed Bin AP delivered the oath to Chairman Ashiq Rahman, who then administered it to the other union members. The newly inducted office bearers include General Secretary Mubashir K, University Union Councillor Nadha Rahman, Vice Chairperson Hiba PT, Joint Secretary Henna C, General Captain Muhammed Shanif M, Fine Arts Secretary Muhammed Febin M, and Student Editor Hasna T. The ceremony marked a promising start for the new union, with each member ready to serve and represent the college community.

VIKNJANOLSAVAM
On July 1, 2024, Duxford College proudly inaugurated VIKNJANOLSAVAM, a college-level event celebrating the launch of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme. The inauguration was graced by esteemed guests, including Ms. Shijimol, President of Kalikavu Panchayath, Mr. Fareed Rahmani, MD & CEO of Duxford Edupark, and Dr. Alavi bin Mohammed bin Ahammed AP, Principal of Duxford College.
The event marked a significant milestone in the college’s academic offerings, showcasing the institution’s commitment to providing an enriched educational experience for its students. Distinguished faculty members and college officials delivered speeches highlighting the benefits and opportunities that the new program would bring. They emphasized the importance of the program in shaping future leaders and innovators.

World Environment Day
On June 5, 2024, in celebration of World Environment Day, Duxford College (DC), in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a tree-planting event to emphasize the importance of environmental conservation. The event was marked by the symbolic planting of a tree by MD & CEO Fareed Rahmani and Principal Prof. Dr. Alavi Bin Muhammed Bin Ahammed AP.
This initiative highlighted the college’s commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness within the campus community. NSS Inauguration
We are excited to announce a significant milestone in the history of Duxford College for Advanced Studies during our inaugural year. On 19th March 2024, we marked an important chapter by inaugurating the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at our institution. This inauguration, part of the much-anticipated event Elevate ’24, was graced by the presence of Dr. Anzer RN, a distinguished officer from the Kerala State NSS. His involvement in launching the NSS unit adds great value to this new initiative, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility and student empowerment.
The establishment of the NSS unit reflects our dedication to fostering a culture of community service among students. It opens doors for our students to actively participate in various service-oriented programs, helping them grow as responsible and empathetic citizens. Through NSS activities, we aim to cultivate leadership qualities, build a sense of social responsibility, and encourage teamwork and community involvement.
