On November 9, 2023, a panel discussion titled “Imperialism: War and Peace” was held, focusing on recent developments in Palestine. The event was organized by the Reader’s Forum in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Duxford. The session was moderated by Fareed Rahmani, MD & CEO of Duxford Edupark, who facilitated insightful discussions among the esteemed speakers.
The panel featured prominent voices, including Abdhu Samad Pookottur, a noted social activist, Dr. T Mohammed Ali, a historian and Principal of Duxford College, and Dr. Suhail Palakkode, the Dean of DIBS. Each speaker shared their perspectives on the complexities of imperialism, the ongoing conflict in Palestine, and the broader implications for peace and security in the region. The discussion provided a platform for critical dialogue, fostering a deeper understanding of the geopolitical landscape and encouraging participants to engage thoughtfully with these pressing issues.
