The RiseUp: Seminar on Higher Education was held on 30th November 2024 at the Visionarium, Duxford Edupark. This seminar aimed to guide higher secondary students in making informed decisions about their academic and career paths. It provided insights into NEP guidelines, FYUGP – Four-Year Degree Programs, and professional courses. Additionally, it inspired participants to approach their futures with confidence.
The event began with a prayer, followed by a Welcome Address by Dr. Misab, COO of Duxford Edupark. Next, Prof. (Dr.) Alavi bin Mohamed bin Ahamed, Principal of Duxford College, delivered the Chair’s Address, emphasizing the importance of informed educational choices. The Inaugural Address by Fareed Rahmani, MD & CEO of Duxford Edupark, highlighted the college’s mission to empower students.
Later, Ms. Jaisha, Vice Principal of Crescent HSS, delivered a felicitation speech. Key sessions included an FYUGP Overview by Muhammed Nuhman, Vice Principal of Duxford College, and a discussion on Professional Courses and CMA Opportunities by CMA Hisham. The seminar’s highlight was the Motivational Interactive Session by Mr. Jafer Cheekilode, who engaged and inspired the students with practical advice.
The seminar concluded with a Vote of Thanks by NT Amritha Kumaran, Staff Secretary. This event successfully provided valuable knowledge and inspiration, ensuring students felt more confident in their future decisions.
